CT thường: Cắt ngang (song song x. khẩu cái): 3mm Cắt dọc (vuông góc x. khẩu cái): 3mm Dựng lớp đứng dọc: tham dò nền sọ, bn sau mổ CT xoắn ốc: Cắt ngang từ vòm khấu cái đến hết xoang trán, độ dày1mm. Dựng lớp cắt dọc và đứng dọc.

Axial CT scan shows a mucoid density mass filling the left maxillary sinus. It extended through the infundibulum into the left nasal fossa and nasopharynx. This patient had an antrochoanal polyp.

This patient A: shows a right maxillary sinus polypoid mass that has prolapsed into the posterior right had an antrochoanal polyp. (B) and (C) CT scans on another patient: a polypoid mass in the right maxillary sinus that has extended into the right nasal fossa and prolapsed into the nasopharynx (arrow). This patient also had an antrochoanal polyp.

MRI shows inflammatory changes in both maxillary sinuses. On the left side, a polypoid mass fills the left maxillary sinus and extends into the nasal fossa (arrow). This patient had an antrochoanal polyp.
Axial CT scan shows a solitary mucoid attenuation left nasal mass (arrow). There are also secretions and inflammatory mucosal disease in both maxillary sinuses. This patient had a nasal polyp and sinusitis.
Axial (A) and coronal (B) CT scans show soft-tissue disease opacifying the ethmoid sinuses and inflammatory mucosal thickening in the sphenoid and maxillary sinuses. Polypoid soft tissues also fill both nasal fossae. Note that the normally thin olfactory recesses of the upper nasal fossae are widened (arrows). This suggests that the nasal masses are chronic nasal polyps.
Coronal CT scan (A) shows an expansile right nasoethmoid mass that has displaced the nasal septum to the left (large arrow). The mass has also focally broken into the floor of the anterior cranial fossa (small arrow). Within the mass are discrete high-attenuation polypoid masses embedded within mucoid secretions. There are also inflammatory changes in the left ethmoid sinuses. This patient had polyposis.
A high-attenuation soft-tissue mass in the sphenoid sinus that is separated from the sphenoid sinus’s bony wall by a zone of mucoid attenuation. There also is an expansile left nasoethmoid mass that has discrete high-attenuation polypoid areas within mucoid secretions. This patient had polyposis and a sphenoid sinus polyp.
