UNIT 12: WATER SPORTS C: LISTENING I. AIMS/OBJECTIVES OF THE LESSON 1. Language focus - To develop students’ listening skills for general, specific information. - To provide students with the way to report a book new words and phrases 2. Teacher: - Teaching aids: Lesson plan, text book, radio, tape - Teaching method: Communicative language teaching 2. Students: - Read Unit 12 – listening at home III. PROCEDURE 1. Class organization (1 minute) 2. Check – up (5 minutes) - Some pairs of Ss do task 2 and task 4 (speaking) again 3. New lesson (35 minutes) STUDENTS’ ACTIVITIES TEACHER’S ACTIVITIES 1.
