Gi¸o ¸n TiÕng Anh líp 6 N¨m häc 2013 - 2014                     Week 1­ Period 1­Teaching day:22 /8/2013                                   INTRODUCTION A. Aims and objectives ­ Help Ss to get aquainted with English text book for grade 6 and the allocation. ­ Get ss to know how to learn English efectively. *Materials: ­ Asking ss to prepare text books, exercise books, notebooks for writing  B. Stages I. Warm up(5’) ­ Greeting and introducing yourself. II.New lesson(37’) 1. Getting ss to know the text book of English 6. ­ In each unit there are two or three sections:A, B or C. After every two or three units there  is a grammar practice section. *Means extra activities for strong Ss , we can pass , but depend on time and ss’ level. ­ First term: From Unit 1 to Unit 8 ­ 3 periods x 18 weeks = 54 periods ­ second term: From Unit 9 to Unit 16 ­ 3 periods x 17 weeks = 51 periods ­ In each term Ss must do two progressive tests ( after unit 3,6.11,14) 2. Getting how to learn English efectively. ­ Learning English is not only learning its grammar and vocabulary but also Practicing 4 skills so that they can communicate. ­ Speaking is very important to grade 6( learning english especially for communicative  purpose) ­At school ss must listen to the teachers carefully, do as teachers require And take note when necessary. ­ at home ss must do their homework , learn the lesson carefully, especially practice  whenever they can.                                                                                                                                                         Gi¸o viªn: NguyÔn ThÞ ¦íc 1 Trêng THCS Sè 1 Nam Lý
