Summary<br />
This paper shows the results of study on modifying polystyrene resin (PS) by dicumyl peroxide<br />
(DCP) in the presence of some acrylate monomers such as methylmethacrylate (MMA) and<br />
trimethylolpropane triacrylate (TMPTA). The results of mechanical property determination<br />
shown that the impact strength of modified PS has been increased with increasing concentration<br />
of DCP and acrylate monomers.<br />
