Preparation of Ag/Au bimetallic nanodecahedra through galvanic displacement method

The samples were synthesized in two steps containing the photochemical reduction and galvanic replacement reaction using silver nanodecahedra as a sacrificial template to obtain hollow silver-gold alloy nanoshells. The dimension of the hollow cavities can be controlled by varying the amount of HAuCl4. The prepared Ag/Au decahedra can be applied to the SERS analysis.
