Summary of Medical Doctoral thesis: Histopatholoy, immunohistochemistry, BRAF V600E mutation in recurrent, metastatic differentiated thyroid carcinoma

To describe histopathological and immunoshistochemical characteristics of recurrent, metastatic differentiated thyroid carcinoma. To determine the prevalence of BRAF V600E mutation, and investigate potential association between BRAF V600E mutation and some histopathological and clinical characteristics.
