This study addresses these issues by using recycled lightweight aggregates (RLWA) from waste polystyrene plastic as an alternative for coal bottom ash in the production of lightweight composites (LWC) incorporating ternary binder materials of cement, fly ash, and ground granulated blast-furnace slag.
