Task-based language teaching (TBLT) has gained widespread recognition as a leading teaching approach globally, prompting extensive research into various aspects of this methodology. Despite this, little research has been done to evaluate assessment in TBLT principles. To address this gap, this study seeks to examine the application of Task-Based Language Assessment (TBLA) in several Vietnamese universities, where TBLT is implemented as the main teaching methodology. This study focuses on developing a machine learning model through the process of analyzing. comparing, and evaluating the performance of five models: AdaBoost, Decision Tree, RandomForest, ExtraTree, and BernoulliNB. All models are implemented using the "Predict Student Dropout Dataset." Based on the results obtained after processing the data, the study will conduct an analysis based on two main criteria: evaluation by average percentage, standard deviation, and final outcomes, as well as evaluation using a time-series model of age (Balanced Accuracy Progression).

Complex problems in global development require cooperation among specialists from numerous backgrounds. Consequently, trans-disciplinary research seems to be appreciated due to its exploration of expertise far beyond the the specific boundary of an individual branch. This study seeks to identify negative aspects of the Research Team as an approach to the path of trans-disciplinary research.

Model Predictive Control (MPC) refers to a class of algorithms that optimize the future behavior of the plant subject to operational constraints. The merits of the class algorithms include its ability to handle imposed hard constraints on the system and perform on-line optimization. This thesis investigates design and implementation of continuous time model predictive control using Laguerre polynomials and extends the design approaches proposed in to include intermittent predictive control, as well as to include the case of the nonlinear predictive control.

Master's thesis of Education: Implementation of project based learning in a training package context
The research was conducted retrospectively from a case study of an AQF Level 6 Textile, Clothing and Footwear Training Package Program at RMIT University TAFE. An Action Research approach underpins the investigation, resulting in the profiling of teaching, learning and assessment as areas in need of further examination. These defining themes are explored in the context of the Project Based Learning model developed at RMIT, with consideration given to the potential for broader application. The discussion concludes with a theoretical review of the new understandings of pedagogy.

This thesis is a detailed case study of implementation of an e-government initiative in Thailand-e-Revenue (the oniine tax payment system)-which is the country's most successful e-government process. This research used a single case study approach which allowed the researcher to examine the phenomenon in depth and to provide extensive understanding and explanation. The need to implement a national policy, the National IT Policy, was found to be the most critical factor in the successful implementation of the e-Revenue project.

The thesis studied the development and implementation of the conceptual Continuous Improvement Teamworking (CIT) Model for strategic performance improvement in retail banking operations. The investigation using of a dominant qualitative to a Less-dominant quantitative approach as a mixed-method strategy revealed the importance of the CIT Model realised through the CTIO (Concern-Task-Interaction-Outcome) Problem-Solving Cycle. The CTIO Cycle is a variant form of the traditional Deming-Shewhart PDCA (Plan-Do-Check-Action) Cycle.

This study seeks to examine the contexts and mitigating circumstances surrounding GI implementation. In particular, it focuses on three main research questions: 1. Why did some GIs fail to achieve positive outcomes while others were able to even acquire competitive advantages from their implementation? 2. Given that some GIs could lead to positive outcomes, why wouldn’t organizations embrace the “winning” approaches when implementing GIs? 3. What were the approaches and conditions that could ensure positive outcomes from GI implementation?

The world is becoming increasingly focused on an imperative to reduce the cost of services. Managers at this cutting edge of practical organizational development are trying many ways to achieve this. The major focus of this research uses a systems psychodynamic approach to investigate the role taken up by part-time contract managers in an Australian university. These part-time roles frequently fail in the longer term. This approach provides an understanding of the unconscious group dynamics that may cause the role to fail.

A correlated sampling technique has been implemented to estimate the impact of cross section modifications on the neutron transport and in Monte Carlo simulations in one single calculation. This implementation has been coupled to a Total Monte Carlo approach which consists in propagating nuclear data uncertainties with random cross section files.
