Case Model

This study is conducted based on the hypothesis of an accident from Fengcheng NPP with an incident level of 7, equivalent to the Fukushima accident. A modeling system has been established with different failure scenarios based on the Delft3D model. The research results will provide more insights into the extent and scope of the incident and the impact of meteorological conditions and dynamics on the propagation and distribution of radiation when an incident occurs.

The results of the analysis displayed that the model was acceptable which explained that variable such as environment, discount price, payment procedures and facility affect impulsive buying in traditional markets. Thus, it may be concluded that impulsive buying behavior in modern markets and traditional markets is similar. When discount prices contributed the greatest influence on the traditional markets, in modern markets, the impact was even more profound.

The research was conducted retrospectively from a case study of an AQF Level 6 Textile, Clothing and Footwear Training Package Program at RMIT University TAFE. An Action Research approach underpins the investigation, resulting in the profiling of teaching, learning and assessment as areas in need of further examination. These defining themes are explored in the context of the Project Based Learning model developed at RMIT, with consideration given to the potential for broader application. This thesis derives closed form equations to describe electromagnetic device characteristics for a toroid, solenoid and a case study induction machine. By considering stored magnetic field energy, this approach allows the relationship between electrical, magnetic and kinetic energy to be quantified and analyzed in ways that allows improved accuracy compared with conventional magnetic circuit modeling methods. This thesis also provides insights into how geometric parameters impact energy transfer and operational characteristics of electromagnetic devices.

This research demonstrates how housing demand can be modelled by using a System Dynamics approach. This modelling concept has been set up, using the root causes which generate housing demand. Causal factors which influence housing demand are collated, and mapped. A model simulating housing demand was developed. Keys to this are demographic, social and economic factors. This model is presented with a view to pursuing new approaches for housing demand modelling.
