Coastal management

This study presents a numerical analysis of flood inundation in a coastal urban area, with a specific application to Changwon City in Korea. The research uses hydrodynamic modeling to simulate flood scenarios and understand the impacts of coastal flooding on urban infrastructure.

The study determines the predominant hydrogeological controls on salinity distribution and salinization/freshening, proposing conceptual models to explain the different vertical distributions of groundwater salinity at the coastline.
