Experimental research on assessment of concrete’s compressive strength of centrifugal concrete piles
Centrifugal concrete products are manufactured using specific technology that changes the concrete proportion during consolidation. The bleeding of water reduces the water-to-cement ratio and increases the compressive strength of concrete. This affects the strength of the concrete determined on conventional casted cylinders, centrifuged hollow cylinders, and drilled cores from piles.

This study also contributes to reducing environmental pollution caused by plastic and glass waste as well as current construction brick production methods. The results show that the bulk density, compressive strength, and bending strength of brick samples made from PET plastic and glass waste are higher than those of burnt clay brick samples, while water absorption is much smaller than that of burnt clay brick samples.

In this paper, the effect of continuous carbon fibers (CCF) on the stiffness of 3D printed frames is investigated. Fused deposition modelling (FDM) technology is employed to build three typical frames with 15% of CCF and 85% poliamide 12 which is combined 10% short carbon fibers (PA12-CF) for compress testing.

This paper uses the discrete element method to simulate a soft grain that can deformed without rupturing. This soft grain is composed of rigid primary particles with a cohesive contact law between them. The results showed that rigid primary particles within the deformable grain can move and rearrange in response to vertical compression.
