This research investigates other built-in sensors and develops methods for improving the accuracy of indoor positioning. Combination with the wireless network, it can be a viable alternative solution for the indoor positioning purposes of the smartphone users. The main advantage of this solution is that it can be deployed with a minimal cost, as no specialized hardware is necessary for setting up the system.

In the work "Master's thesis of Science: User delay tolerance - aware edge node placement optimization for cost minimization", we review the related works and identify the research gaps in Chapter 2. Then, we formulate our problem in Chapter 3 and prove the NP-hardness of the problem in Chapter 4. Base on our problem formulation, we provide a suit of solutions in Chapter 5. After that, we do an comprehensive evaluation on our proposed methods in Chapter 6. Finally, we summarise our work in Chapter 7.

Chronic Low Back Pain CLBP, defined as pain lasting 12 weeks, accounts for 50% of total back pain costs. Risk factors include obesity, female gender, older age, prior history of back pain, restricted spinal mobility, pain radiating into a leg, high levels of psychological distress, poor self-rated health, minimal physical activity, smoking, job dissatisfaction, and widespread pain. Combinations of these premorbid factors have been used to predict which individuals with ALBP are likely to develop CLBP. The initial approach to these patients is similar to that for ALBP.
