  • In summary, our study provides novel insights into the lipid composition and content of Pacific oysters cultured in Van Don, Quang Ninh. The results demonstrate the temporal variability in lipid classes and fatty acid composition throughout the year, with the highest lipid content observed during the pre-reproductive period. These findings could contribute to better understanding the nutritional value of Pacific oysters and inform future aquaculture practices.

  • The aim of this study is to develop a perspective on culture which would integrate the views of both opposing camps. By applying the principles of ancient Chinese philosophy, especially the Yin-Yang principle, a balanced, holistic conceptualization was proposed which hold that culture is composed of both a stable and a changing dimension, which dialectically transform into each other to give culture a certain degree of stability and inheritability on the one hand, and a momentum for change and variability on the other, in an ongoing, spiraling process of cultural emergence.

  • Morphological and cultural variability of S. rolfsii infecting tomato were studied on different solid and liquid media based on radial growth, topography, sclerotial number, diameter of sclerotia, test weight of sclerotial bodies and dry mycelial weight. Significant variability with reference to mycelial and sclerotial characters was observed on different media. This investigation revealed that the maximum mycelial growth was observed in Potato Dextrose Agar (9 cm) and more test weight (262 mg) of sclerotial bodies was recorded in Sabouraud’s dextrose agar.
