Demand of energy

The heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) system consumes a lot of electricity in the building to meet the demand for thermal comfort. The energy recovery ventilator (ERV) has been used in commercial, industrial, and residential buildings to save energy consumption for HVAC systems. In this study, we investigated the efficiency of ERV systems in different construction climate zones in Vietnam and the energy consumption of the sample primary school.

In the context of the increasing global demand for sustainable energy development, the solution of using cementbased materials to develop batteries for energy storage has enormous potential, but this topic is still quite new to engineers and scientists in the construction industry. This study aims to systematically provide the basic principles as well as the current approaches and technical challengesin the development of batteries using cement-based materials.

Several studies have been carried out by optimising only the cost. They have not considered some other risk factors such as political and economic factors in their modelling. Currently, there is no generalised model available to determine the optimal sourcing locations incorporating important factors including risks in international LNG trading. In this study, 12 risk factors were taken into consideration to evaluate the risk.

Biological nitrogen fixation is a vital process in the global nitrogen cycle, transforming dinitrogen in the atmosphere into ammonia. Being a very energy-demanding and oxygen-sensitive process, both expression and activity of the nitrogenase enzyme are tightly regu-lated. Rhodospirillum rubrumis a free-living, photosynthetic, purple non-sulfur nitrogen-fixing bacterium, which has been extensively used as a model organism for metabolic and regulatory studies regarding nitrogen fixation.
