Bài báo này xem xét đến tác động của tấn công Blackhole lên hiệu năng của mạng WSN khi dùng giao thức định tuyến AODV (Ad-hoc On-demand Distance Vector Routing) [1]. Trong báo cáo này, tấn công Blackhole sẽ được mô phỏng bằng Network Simulator 2 (NS-2) và đo tỉ lệ phân phát gói, tỉ lệ mất gói, năng lượng còn lại của các node trong trường hợp không có và có tấn công Blackhole. Giải pháp IDSAODV [2] (mở rộng của AODV) chống tấn công Blackhole cũng được mô phỏng sử dụng NS-2.
