Cultural tourism should pay equal attention to culture and tourism, explore cultural connotation, match cultural resources and tourism industry, and make good use of short video marketing in new media, develop characteristic IP, and coordinate the IP of cities. By the dynamic nature of the sports event, infect various cultural contents related to the event, and let the local and foreign tourists feel the sports scene constructed by the sports event.

The dynamic response of a concrete pavement system with load transfer dowels under the effects of moving loads is a topic of interest to many scholars. However, to fully understand the nature of the stress-strain state of the concrete slab, load transfer dowels, and the subgrade in the pavement structure, further research is needed.

Recently, machine learning (ML) algorithms have proven to be highly effective tools for predicting structural damage. However, the data used in structural health monitoring often consists primarily of normal operational conditions or slight deviations from the original state, with a scarcity of data representing potentially dangerous conditions.

This article examines the linguistic differences between young men and women, exploring how gender influences language use among youth. Youth language, characterized by its dynamic, innovative, and informal nature, reflects group identity and resistance toadult norms. Gender plays a significant role in shaping these linguistic patterns, influencing speech styles, vocabulary, and nonverbal communication.

The rationale for this study is that the social enterprise sector provides an important locale in which to situate research that aims to identify the impact of ICTs on development. Recognising the complex dynamics and range of actors involved in this diverse and emerging area of development practice, this study chooses to focus on the social enterprise sector. It is specifically concerned with mapping the external influences, use and impact of ICT on social enterprises in Cambodia.

The research "Beyond board capital: probing inside the black box of Australian board recruitment and dynamics" addresses the overarching question: What is the nature of board capital in the Australian context and how does board recruitment and dynamics influence the formation and utilisation of board capital? In so doing this thesis provides answers for the following questions: What are the contextual factors that shape the creation of board capital? What are the key considerations in the recruitment of board members? What are the human and social capital characteristics of board members? W...

Modelling the diffusion of mobile commerce in a country is a difficult task due to the non-linear, complex and uncertain nature of its operating environment. Conventional analytical techniques are of limited use in this context, and a System Dynamics approach is more appropriate to model such a complex system.

This study uncovers a wide range of complex transport dynamics in transiently forced aquifers that has profound implications for the understanding and quantification of solute transport in these important groundwater systems. And the results in this thesis predict that complex transport structures and dynamics arise in natural transiently forced aquifers around the world. When such dynamics do arise, it will lead to mixing and reactive transport patterns that are very different from those predicted by conventional Darcy flow models.

In this research, the influences of modal properties of a micro cubic satellite on equivalent static loads (due to combination of quasi-static and dynamic loads during launch time) have been studied. The study shows that the magnitude of equivalent static loads can be affected by satellite effective modes and effective mass distribution along natural frequencies.

DNA transactions in eukaryotes require that proteins gain access to target sequences packaged in chromatin. Further, interactions between distinct nucleoprotein complexes are often required to generate higher-order structures. Here, we employed two prokaryotic site-specific recombination systems to investigate how chromatin packaging affects the assembly of nucleoprotein structures of different complexities at more than 30 genomic loci. The dynamic nature of chromatin permitted protein–DNA and DNA–DNA interactions for sites of at least 34 bp in length.

Lipid rafts are liquid-ordered membrane microdomains with a unique protein and lipid composition found on the plasma membrane of most, if not all, mammalian cells. A large number of signalling molecules are concentrated within rafts, which have been proposed to function as signalling centres capable of facilitating efficient and specific signal transduction. This review summarizes current knowledge regarding the composition, structure, and dynamic nature of lipid rafts, as well as a number of different signalling path- ways that are compartmentalized within these microdomains....

Flavoproteins are ubiquitous redox proteins that are involved in many biological processes. In the majority of flavoproteins, the flavin cofactor is tightlybut noncovalently bound.Reversible dissociation of flavoproteins into apo-proteinandflavinprostheticgroupyields valuable insights in flavoprotein folding, functionandmechanism.Replacement of the natural cofactorwithartificial flavins has proved tobe especially useful for the determination of the solvent acces-sibility, polarity, reaction stereochemistry and dynamic behaviour of flavoprotein active sites....

Amathematicalmodel hasbeendevelopedtostudy theeffect of external tryptophan on the trp operon. The model accounts for the effect of feedback repression by tryptophan through the Hill equation. We demonstrate that the trp operonmaintains an intracellular steady-state concentration in a fivefold range irrespective of extracellular conditions. Dynamic behavior of thetrp operon corresponding to varying levels of extracellular tryptophan illustrates the adaptive nature of regulation.

This work describes an online application that uses Natural Language Generation (NLG) methods to generate walking directions in combination with dynamic 2D visualisation. We make use of third party resources, which provide for a given query (geographic) routes and landmarks along the way. We present a statistical model that can be used for generating natural language directions. This model is trained on a corpus of walking directions annotated with POS, grammatical information, frame-semantics and markup for temporal structure. ...

In both industrial fermenters and in their natural habitats, microorganisms often experience an inhomogeneous and fluctuating environment. In this paper we mimicked one aspect of this nonideal behaviour by imposing a low and oscillating extracellular glucose concentration on nonoscillating suspensions of yeast cells. The extracellular dynamics changed the intracel-lular dynamics – which was monitored through NADH fluorescence – from steady to equally dynamic; the latter followed the extracellular dynamics at the frequency of glucose pulsing....

The catalytic competence of the natural thrombin mutant with deletion of the Lys9 residue in the A-chain (DK9) was found to be severely impaired, most likely due to modification of the 60-loop conformation and catalytic triad geometry, as supported by long molecular dynamics (MD) simula-tions in explicit water solvent.

Although the chemical nature of the catalytic mechanism of the serine pro-tease a-chymotrypsin (a-CT) is largely understood, the influence of the enzyme’s structural dynamics on its catalysis remains uncertain. Here we investigate whether a-CT’s structural dynamics directly influence the kinet-ics of enzyme catalysis.
