Combined systems for wastewater treatment and resource recovery have been developed in many countries. However, systems for energy generation are still underdeveloped. This research was conducted to evaluate the possibility of electric potential generation from wastewater using a microbial fuel cell system (MFC).

This research presents a detailed evaluation of the total active power loss (TAPL) under different placements of photovoltaic power plants (PVPs) in the electric distribution network (EDN) IEEE 33-node. Three study cases have been conducted to serve the initial intention, including 1) optimizing both rated power and position of a PVP on selected EDN; 2) optimizing the positions of different quantities of PVPs independently to the grid with the same rated power, and 3) optimizing a sole PVP with a wide range of rated power.

This dissertation aims to investigate the electrical impedance properties of fruits and vegetables, and explore the relationship between impedance and quality criteria. In particular, the present dissertation outlines experimental research conducted on relationships between impedance properties and fruit tastes as well as the impedance changes observed during ripening process. Impedance measurement to monitor moisture content changes in the progress of drying is also included in this research.

The current work was intended to evaluate the quality of the selected ponds (Pond 1, 2 and 3) in and around Vellore district, TamilNadu. The water samples were collected to determine the physical and chemical parameters during every month in the year 2019. One of the easiest and efficient way of water conservation to solve drinking water scarcity is rooftop water harvesting. To evaluate the performance of the first flush with micromesh filter system, inflow and outflow of the rooftop water samples were analysed for pH, EC, TDS, SAL and TSS parameters. In general, the PH, electrical conductivity, and TDS of the roof water samples were within the drinking water standards and the first flush with micromesh filter system was found to reduce TDS values.

In this paper we improve an earlier result by Bukhgeim and Uhlmann [1], by showing that in dimension n ≥ 3, the knowledge of the Cauchy data for the Schr¨dinger equation measured on possibly very small subsets of the o boundary determines uniquely the potential.
