Functionally graded materials

In this work, a reduced order isogeometric model is proposed to analyze the dynamic behavior of carbon nanotube-reinforced composite plates. In which, the mechanical properties of the material are functionally graded through the plate thickness employing four distributions of carbon nanotubes.

This paper is dedicated to the study of geometrically nonlinear behaviour of variable thickness functionallygraded plates subjected to uniaxial compressive forces. The plate’s geometry in this study could have either uniform thickness or symmetrical parabolic-form thickness.

Vật liệu FGM (hay còn gọi là: vật liệu composite có cơ tính biến thiên, vật liệu cơ tính biến thiên, vật liệu FGM) có tên quốc tế: Functionally Graded Material (được viết tắt phổ biến là FGM), là một loại composite thế hệ mới được một nhóm các nhà khoa học ở viện Sendai của Nhật Bản nghiên cứu và phát triển lần đầu tiên vào năm 1984. Bài viết tập trung nghiên cứu về tính bền và ổn định của vật liệu FGM. Từ đó đưa ra nhận xét và xem xét đưa vật liệu mới vào lĩnh vực sản xuất chế tạo khung xe điện hiện nay.

In this study, the deflection and stress field of perfect and imperfect (with and without porosities) functionally graded (FG) cylindrical panels are determined following the first-order shear deformation theory (FSDT). The panel rested on the twoparameter elastic foundation (Pasternak foundation) under pressure loads and worked in a hygro-thermal environment.

This paper presents an analytical and a numerical thermomechanical investigation of a thick-walled cylinder made of the functionally graded materials (FGMs). The hollow cylinder is subjected to a pressure and a thermal load and the properties of this material are varying across the thickness from the inner face that is a ceramic to the outer one which is a metal.

This thesis aims to develop finite element models for studying vibration of the 2D-FGM beam. These models require high reliability, good convergence speed and be able to evaluate the influence of material parameters, geometric parameters as well as being able to simulate the effect of shear deformation on vibration characteristics and dynamic responses of the 2D-FGM beam.
