However, traditional low-rank representation-based dictionary learning methods struggle to leverage discriminative information effectively.

This study proposes to test a combination model between CNN network and XGBoost algorithm for weather image classification problem. The proposed model uses deep learning network, namely CNN for feature extraction, then feeds the features into the XGBoost classifier to recognize the images.

Blur image classification is essential for computer vision applications, including image quality assessment, surveillance and medical imaging systems. This study proposes a method to classify different types of blur: sharp, Gaussian blur, motion blur, and defocus blur, using the DenseNet121 architecture.

Objective: Objective of this dissertation is to find a novel method to reduce computation cost as well as memory requirement but still retain accuracy in video-based person ReID approach. In video-based person ReID, computation cost and memory requirement are the two main issues. Working with a large number of images is the burden of any surveillance system. This results in a high computation cost as well as a large memory capacity.

In this thesis, I have proposed a LCC method for these areas. Firstly, a dense time-series of composite images was constructed from all available multi-year Landsat 8 images over the study area. A m odified compositing method was proposed for the compositing process using Landsa t 8 SR images.
