Integrative motivation

The research aims at investigating social-psychological orientations of HIUJLLs (Japanese Language Department learners of Hong Bang International University). A survey and a semi-structured interview are governed by 68 students ranging from 2nd to 4th academic year with various Japanese levels from elementary to advanced.

This thesis contributes to our understanding of the ASEAN group, focusing on the ASEAN5 with particular attention paid to asset pricing and the linkages between equity markets, GDP and trade. A further motivation for this thesis lies in the importance of emerging markets. The ASEAN5 equity markets and their economies have only recently been freed from many of the regulatory constraints that bound their economies.

This thesis is divided into six chapters. The current chapter has introduced the thesis. Chapter 2 discusses the background of the institutional features of the Indian IPO market, including the grey market. Chapter 3 (Study 1) introduces an integrated conceptual framework of information sharing, with and without allocation discretion to underwriters. Chapter 4 (Study 2) applies signaling theory in the Indian IPO market setting to understand the effect of the information asymmetry between IPO investors.

Little effort so far has been devoted to the understanding of the post-transaction performance of Chinese CBMA, and its crucial antecedents and moderating factors.

Research subjects of the thesis are ontology, inconsistent knowledge in ontologies and methods of processing inconsistent knowledge in ontologies. By analyzing research motivations, we address objectives of research for processing inconsistent in ontologies by the two tasks: querying andintegrating. In particularly, we restrict the objectives of research by three problems following: determine meaningful result for querying inconsistent ontology, resolving conflict of concept level in ontology integration, esolving conflict of axiom level in ontology integration.

We reformulate a conjecture of Deligne on 1-motives by using the integral weight filtration of Gillet and Soul´ on cohomology, and prove it. This implies e the original conjecture up to isogeny.
