This study aims to collect and systematically document the traditional knowledge of poisonous plants by interviewing Van Kieu and Pa Ko ethnic communities in Quang Tri province. A total of 56 poisonous plant species (27 herbs, 15 shrubs and 14 woody plants) of flowering plants belonging to 26 families and 50 genera were found in the study site. Based on the Recorded Poisonous Plant Proportion (RPPP) values, 25 commonly recorded poisonous plants were selected for analyzing Fidelity Level (FL) and Informants Consensus Factor (ICF).

The study was conducted a year (July 2017-July 2018) in Gorontalo Province. Data were obtained from direct interviews with farmers, collectors, wholesalers, retailers. Data analysis utilized DEA (Data Envelopment Analysis). The results showed that the performance of the cayenne supply chain doer in Gorontalo was mostly efficient, only 16.7% farmers, 10% collecting trader, 8.3% large trader and 16.7% retailers whose performance was not efficient.

The study used qualitative approach in which deployed in-depth interview from a case study. The case study focused on the final stage of the supply chain which is retailers’ premises.

This study investigates the role of supply chain accounting information system to create competitive advantage for Iraqi General Commission for Taxation. Interviews were conducted from selected officials of Taxation department. The results showed that all the respondents agreed that supply chain accounting information system is a useful approach to create competitive advantage in term of cost reduction, enhancing operational efficiency, increasing the scope of organization and strengthen the internal control system.

This study investigates the impact of karaoke activities on English pronunciation by engaging 27 English major students in five karaoke-based pronunciation learning sessions. Both pretests and posttests, along with survey questionnaires and interviews, were employed to assess changes in participants' pronunciation competency before and after the treatment.

The primary objective of the research is to develop a balanced scorecard framework for construction contractors and measu re performance of contractors using that framework. The results of the questionnaire survey carried out and follow-up interviews conducted among 34 senior managers in Melbourne revealed that the above performance measurement framework is appropriate to use in a contracting organisation. The respondents perceive that the process management perspective measurement is more desirable than others.

This study explores the use of teacher reflective practice, teacher networking and teacher collaboration, beyond formal ICT training, through blog-based professional development of English teachers in the Mumbai region of India. Using data collected from 32 teachers in three private schools of Mumbai, through ICT interactive workshop observations, questionnaires, interviews and blog comments, the case study explains whether and why blogging, as a learning community, has potential to add significant value to existing professional development of English teachers in Mumbai.

This thesis investigated the major factors contributing to marketing success, as measured by average annual Return on Shareholders Funds, within the Australian corporate finance market, during the period 1983 to 1987. The study's findings are based on the analysis of the responses to a detailed mail questionnaire, and several follow-up in-depth interviews. The questionnaire was mailed to nearly five hundred of the most senior executives working in the corporate finance market in late 1987.

This study examined the current situation of the Serbian Orthodox Church both in its Australian and transnational contexts since the Serbian Orthodox Church functions as transnational network with churches linked globally. The research strategy was a combination of qualitative and quantitative methods. This included a case study approach which focused in four parishes in Australia, including interviews which involved forty six participants affiliated to Serbian Orthodoxy and four Serbian Orthodox priests who were individually interviewed.

This changing external environment is the context for this 'practitioner research' investigative project - the development of a motorsports program as a case study of innovation and entrepreneurship at Wodonga Institute of TAFE. A participant-observer research approach was applied to examine the perceptions of the stakeholders about the development of the program. This study explores the way in which Primary School Principals perceive and experience emotions in their day-to-day lives. To understand the varying elements of school leadership a qualitative research approach using semi-structured interviews was used, which was appropriate due to the social and psychological nature of the topic being studied. The research reported here addresses the question of what is required to engage stakeholders to create effective change. It is a case study of one organisation, Melbourne Water, which is located in Victoria, Australia. The research is undertaken using a qualitative, action research framework and a systems psychodynamic perspective. Volunteer participants participated in one-on-one interviews and focus groups. The data is also generated through organisational observations and reflection utilising the methods of supervision and journaling.

This research aims to extend the understanding of contingency theory and the factors influencing Activity-Based Costing (ABC) and Activity-Based Budgeting (ABB) system implementation in developing economies. Using qualitative case-based methods, the unique features of ABC/ABB implementation in three large Thai companies from telecommunications, banking and oil industries were investigated. Interviews were conducted with key personnel involved with the implementation process. The Telecommunications Company and Bank implemented ABC and the Oil Company implemented ABB.

Those living with disadvantage suffer from higher rates of chronic conditions and multimorbidities. Little work has been done to investigate how this cohort experience patient-centred care and what their outcomes might be. This study showed that as a result of a short course of treatment clients experienced better levels of health and wellbeing and decreased levels of pain and disability. Interview data suggest that this may be due to a combination of therapy, setting and relationships formed within that setting.

This paper aims to provide a clearer picture of the main functions of short-term expatriate assignments. It is based on the results from an empirical study with involving 84 interviewees from different companies located in different host countries. The interviewees were managers mainly from Malaysian, Australian, and Singaporean companies that operated internationally. The duration of the interviews was in average of 1 hour 30 minutes. Extensive notes and voice recordings were made during the interviews.

This study explored the gaps in the literature through a qualitative study with a small group of VET practitioners placed within the one TAFE site, who, between them, showed some variety within their background and practice. Seven VET teachers were interviewed regarding their current use of eLearning within their teaching practice; including current understandings and use of technology, what issues they experienced, and how they felt the use of e-Learning had impacted them and their learners, specifically in relation to learner engagement.
