  • This study aims to collect and systematically document the traditional knowledge of poisonous plants by interviewing Van Kieu and Pa Ko ethnic communities in Quang Tri province. A total of 56 poisonous plant species (27 herbs, 15 shrubs and 14 woody plants) of flowering plants belonging to 26 families and 50 genera were found in the study site. Based on the Recorded Poisonous Plant Proportion (RPPP) values, 25 commonly recorded poisonous plants were selected for analyzing Fidelity Level (FL) and Informants Consensus Factor (ICF).

  • The study was conducted a year (July 2017-July 2018) in Gorontalo Province. Data were obtained from direct interviews with farmers, collectors, wholesalers, retailers. Data analysis utilized DEA (Data Envelopment Analysis). The results showed that the performance of the cayenne supply chain doer in Gorontalo was mostly efficient, only 16.7% farmers, 10% collecting trader, 8.3% large trader and 16.7% retailers whose performance was not efficient.

  • This study investigates the role of supply chain accounting information system to create competitive advantage for Iraqi General Commission for Taxation. Interviews were conducted from selected officials of Taxation department. The results showed that all the respondents agreed that supply chain accounting information system is a useful approach to create competitive advantage in term of cost reduction, enhancing operational efficiency, increasing the scope of organization and strengthen the internal control system.

  • The primary objective of the research is to develop a balanced scorecard framework for construction contractors and measu re performance of contractors using that framework. The results of the questionnaire survey carried out and follow-up interviews conducted among 34 senior managers in Melbourne revealed that the above performance measurement framework is appropriate to use in a contracting organisation. The respondents perceive that the process management perspective measurement is more desirable than others.

  • Those living with disadvantage suffer from higher rates of chronic conditions and multimorbidities. Little work has been done to investigate how this cohort experience patient-centred care and what their outcomes might be. This study showed that as a result of a short course of treatment clients experienced better levels of health and wellbeing and decreased levels of pain and disability. Interview data suggest that this may be due to a combination of therapy, setting and relationships formed within that setting.

  • This paper aims to provide a clearer picture of the main functions of short-term expatriate assignments. It is based on the results from an empirical study with involving 84 interviewees from different companies located in different host countries. The interviewees were managers mainly from Malaysian, Australian, and Singaporean companies that operated internationally. The duration of the interviews was in average of 1 hour 30 minutes. Extensive notes and voice recordings were made during the interviews.

  • This study explored the gaps in the literature through a qualitative study with a small group of VET practitioners placed within the one TAFE site, who, between them, showed some variety within their background and practice. Seven VET teachers were interviewed regarding their current use of eLearning within their teaching practice; including current understandings and use of technology, what issues they experienced, and how they felt the use of e-Learning had impacted them and their learners, specifically in relation to learner engagement.
