Composite materials are widely used in aesthetic dental restorations due to their advantages, including minimal invasive preparation, high mechanical strength, adhesive durability, biocompatibility, time and cost-effectiveness. This study investigates the effect of enamel-shade composite thickness on the final color values of restorations using a two-layer technique to replace enamel and dentine.

The study investigated the antifungal activity against Aspergillus niger CBS 76997 and Penicillium oxalicum 20B of several Lactobacillus strains (LAB). The in vitro antifungal activity of cell-free supernatants and biomass of Lactobacillus strains against the growth of A. niger CBS 76997 and P. oxalicum 20B was determined by monitoring the fungal colony diameter over time by spot inoculation method and double layer method.

This paper evaluates an energy harvesting strategy for UAVs from sunlight and laser beams on cloudy days with a low-level cloud layer. The channel models and harvested powers for both cases are considered and analyzed using mathematical equations and simulation results.

In this work, we present a comprehensive optical simulation analysis of bulkheterojunction (BHJ) organic solar cells where PBDB-T:ITIC incorporated with PTB7:PC71BM blends served as photoactive layers. Thin layer chromatography and column chromatography were performed from the ethyl acetate extraction of the bark stem of Phyllanthus acidus, and six terpenoids were isolated, including four diterpenes and two triterpenes. Their names were phyllanthol (1), 19-acetoxy-16α, 17- dihydroxy-ent-kaurane (2), 16α, 17-dihydroxy-ent-kaurane (3), 16α,17-acetonide-3αhydroxykauran (4), maslinic acid (5) and phyllane A (6).

This study aims to contribute to the development of a GaN/Ga2O3 diode that can be utilized in high-power device applications. The simulated device is calibrated against experimental GaN and Ga2O3 diodes, considering the effect of thickness of GaN layer and its doping concentration on the performance of GaN/Ga2O3 diodes. The band structures of devices are investigated to revial which factors that affect the properties of GaN/Ga2O3 diode.

This article presents the experimental results on the flexural behavior of reinforced concrete (RC) beams strengthened with textile-reinforced concrete (TRC). Four RC beams were made of B22.5 grade concrete, and the TRC strengthening layer utilized Sigratex Grid 350 textile, with fine-grained concrete Sikagrout 214-11 serving as the binder.
