The aim of this study was to explore and describe the impact of living with a chronic wound and findings indicate that individuals living with a chronic wound are receiving conflicting or inappropriate advice and care. Individuals living with a chronic wound experience a life of uncertainty related to the struggle to endure a wounded body and the layers of professional care they receive.

This explorative descriptive design study explores the engagement between General Practitioners (GPs) and community mental health staff working to care for mental health consumers. Mental health clinicians, community support workers and General Practitioners working closely with mental health clients were invited to complete a web-based survey using Survey Monkey. A total of 653 GPs and 850 mental health workers participated in the study. Consent to participate in the study was implied by the completion of the anonymous survey.

The present study was embedded within a National Health and Medical Research Council funded Implementation study. This study evaluated the feasibility and clinical outcomes of acupressure as part of standard PONV management protocol through two reviews, one clinical survey, one feasibility study and one clinical audit.

The purpose of the research topic is to evaluate the motivations that would drive Brazilian nurses to immigrate to Ireland for working. The focus are Brazilian nurses in general, registered, technicians and assistants, who live in Brazil or not. This group of professionals already shows interest on working in Ireland since the researcher have contacted some of them in her recruitment project.

This study seeks to evaluate the barriers to employment in the UK which limit the mobility of EU nations between EU member states. Three objectives were set which consist of the following: identify the ability of doctors and nurses to move between EU countries, identify the main stakeholders of the UK's healthcare industry and identify mobility barriers present in UK hospitals. The literature suggests that the main type of professional migrants going to UK hospitals consist of permanent settlers and temporary professional transients.
