The production of colored glass is one of the methods used to recycle the electric arc furnace dust to take advantage of the coloring element in the dust. To use this colored glass for decoration, it is also necessary to test its durability. The present study focuses on the properties of colored glass when using electric furnace dust.

This study investigated the influence of product construction and knitted structure on the length of continuous yarn unravelling from used shaped knitted clothes. In this study, we investigated some conditions affecting the extraction of total carotenoids from R. mucilaginosa using environmentally friendly chemicals: cell disruption conditions with organic acids combined with ultrasound-assistant method, using ethanol and petroleum ether solvents to replace acetone in the process of extracting total carotenoids to obtain a benign product, easy to apply in food.

This study also contributes to reducing environmental pollution caused by plastic and glass waste as well as current construction brick production methods. The results show that the bulk density, compressive strength, and bending strength of brick samples made from PET plastic and glass waste are higher than those of burnt clay brick samples, while water absorption is much smaller than that of burnt clay brick samples.

Salicylic acid (SA), sodium benzoate (SB), phenoxyethanol (PO), and benzyl alcohol (BA) are “non paraben” preservatives commonly used in cosmetic products like shampoos, and often in combination of at least two compounds to assure their antimicrobial effectiveness at low concentrations.
