By utilising Wavelet analysis to examine the vibration signals of the gears, it is possible to identify spatial and temporal variations in the signals, thereby detecting signs of damage in the system.

Key aspects of the research are to analyse the thermal and mechanical responses of laminates and sandwich composites in high temperature and fire environments, which result in softening and structural failure. The objective of this research was to determine the role of neural feedback and muscle mechanics in the generation of physiological tremor oscillation. This research developed a neuromuscular model to simulate the individual and resulting oscillatory mechanisms of tremor. The oscillations found in EMG signal were also analysed empirically from EMG data from 54 subjects using Hilbert Transform and rectification to obtain the envelope of the signal. The time between rhythmical waveform patterns in the EMG signal, TC was found to be 78ms.

The purpose of the thesis "An empirical analysis of firm innovation capability and performance of Indonesian ICT SMEs" is to explore the antecedents of innovation capability and firm performance of ICT SMEs within clusters in Jakarta and Bandung in Indonesia. A causal model was proposed and tested by using Partial Least Squares (PLS-SEM). Findings reveal that intellectual capital is a major contributor of innovation capability. Surprisingly, being spatially close in a specific location does not trigger firms to have innovation capability.

This paper focuses on exploring Machine learning methods to automate this process. The main challenge we face is in generating adequate training datasets to train the Machine learning model. Creating training data by manually segmenting real images is very labour-intensive, so we have instead tested methods of automatically creating synthetic training datasets which have the same attributes of the original images. The generated synthetic images are used to train a U-net Model, which is then used to segment the original bread dough images.
