Non-invasiveness

Sàng lọc trước sinh không xâm lấn (Noninvasive prenatal testing-NIPT) dựa trên DNA tự do của thai nhi (cffDNA) trong huyết tương của thai phụ là kỹ thuật xác định lệch bội nhiễm sắc thể chính xác, hạn chế được nhiều rủi ro so với kỹ thuật xâm lấn. Nghiên cứu này nhằm thiết lập kỹ thuật qRT-PCR ứng dụng trong xác định chỉ số ff, giúp kiểm soát chất lượng NIPT trong nghiên cứu cũng như thực hành lâm sàng.

The function of microRNAs (miRNAs) is translational repression or mRNA cleavage of target genes by binding to 3¢-UTRs of target mRNA. In this study, we investigated the functions and the target genes of micro-RNA124a (miR124a), and imaged the miR124a-mediated repression of chromosome 14 open reading frame24(c14orf24, unknown function) during neurogenesis, using noninvasive luciferase systems.

Many recent studies have reported that microRNA (miRNA) biogenesis and function are related to the molecular mechanisms of various clinical diseases. Several methods, including northern blotting and DNA chip anal-yses, are capable of assessing miRNA-production patterns in cells. How-ever, the development of repetitive monitoring of the miRNA-production profile in a noninvasive manner is demanded for the application of miRNAs to human medicine.

Autoantibodies against autologus tumor-associated antigens have been detected in the asymptomatic stage of cancer and can thus serve as biomar-kers for early cancer diagnosis. Moreover, because autoantibodies are found in sera, they can be screened easily using a noninvasive approach. Consequently, many studies have been initiated to identify novel autoanti-bodies relevant to various cancer types.
