Waste from Jackfruit has little economic value and often causes serious environmental problems. The conversion of jackfruit waste will help reduce waste treatment costs, provide a potential source of raw materials for the activated carbon (AC) and increase economic value. In this study, the ACs from the Jackfruit shell and pulp were synthesized by microwave assistance for removing organic dyes.

This research is to design the Indonesian LPG distribution system through Location-allocation modelling taking into account the existing facilities. Location-allocation model is developed in fixed charge capacitated location-allocation problem considering transportation and inventory decisions. Multi echelon LPG distribution system is considered to be modelled from regional warehouse to agents.

In the work "Master's thesis of Science: User delay tolerance - aware edge node placement optimization for cost minimization", we review the related works and identify the research gaps in Chapter 2. Then, we formulate our problem in Chapter 3 and prove the NP-hardness of the problem in Chapter 4. Base on our problem formulation, we provide a suit of solutions in Chapter 5. After that, we do an comprehensive evaluation on our proposed methods in Chapter 6. Finally, we summarise our work in Chapter 7.

This paper proposes a solution to the power grid system's reactive power optimization scheduling problem (RPSP) based on a novel Manta ray forging algorithm (MRFO) evolutionary algorithm. This paper suggests a solution for the image segmentation (IS) problem with the multilevel thresholding based on one of the latest hybrid swarm computation optimization algorithms, particle swarms, and gravitational search (PSGA). The experimental results are comparable with other state-of-the-art algorithms that show that the PSGA on selected images is better than the competitors.

This paper presents a hybrid method that combines the genetic algorithm (GA) and the ant colony system algorithm (ACS), namely GACS, to solve the traffic routing problem. In the proposed framework, we use the genetic algorithm to optimize the ACS parameters in order to attain the best trips and travelling time through several novel functions to help ants to update the global and local pheromones.
