Predictive control

This article discusses an adaptive cruise control system aimed at monitoring the distance with the vehicle ahead. This system allows for the automatic control of the throttle by electronic control signals instead of manual pedal operation. In the research, a predictive control model (MPC) is utilized within the Matlab/Simulink software to simulate the control process of the research model.

In this study, a computational investigation of the physicochemical properties of hypericin and pseudohypericin revealed drug-like characteristics. Pharmacokinetic predictions indicated that hypericin and pseudohypericin are non-toxic to the central nervous system, hepatic system, and cardiac system. Molecular docking results indicated a strong binding affinity of hypericin/pseudohypericin with MPXV thymidylate kinase. As a result, these compounds are being considered as potential Mpox control candidates.

This paper presents a system that combines torque control algorithms based on a back-propagation neural network (BP-ANN) and an Adaptive Neuro-Fuzzy Inference System (ANFIS). The BP-ANN uses a multi-layer structure where the input layer processes factors such as load torque, rotational speed, and stator current, hidden layers model complex nonlinear interactions, and the output layer predicts optimal torque for AFPMSM operation.

Magnetic bearing systems have received much attention in the research community for the past decades. Its inherent nonlinearity and open-loop instability present challenges for controller design. This thesis investigates and designs model predictive control (MPC) systems for an experimental Active Magnetic Bearing (AMB) laboratory system. A host-target development environment of real-time control system with hardware in the loop (HIL) is used for implementation of the predictive control systems. The main focus of this thesis is on the application of a model predictive control (MPC) method to devise an ABS for a BBW vehicle.
