Public universities in Vietnam

This paper explores the self-efficacy of English as a Medium of Instruction (EMI) teachers at a public university in Vietnam. It focuses on three key areas of teaching: Instructional practices, classroom management, and student engagement. A quantitative approach was employed using the Teachers' Sense of Efficacy Scale (TSES) to assess self-efficacy among ten EMI teachers.

The current study aimed to investigate the effectiveness of using "Baamboozle" in enhancing student participation in EMI classes at a public university in Vietnam. Specifically, this study was conducted over ten weeks and used research tools including a questionnaire survey of 50 students and classroom observation.

This study, therefore, investigated students’ evaluation of Solutions Pre-intermediate, one textbook belonging to the Solutions series. 256 non-English majors at a public university in Vietnam participated in the study and completed an online 29-item questionnaire which examined their perceptions of the organization, activities, linguistic aspects, and subject and content and their overall evaluation of the textbook.

The study aims to compare the use of strategic management accounting (SMA) by organizational structure (level of autonomy, year of establishment, and student size) of Vietnamese public universities. Survey data was collected from 142 accountants of Vietnamese public higher education institutions through questionnaires and regression analysis using SPSS 22 software.

This research was conducted at a public university in Vietnam where project-based learning (PBL) has been integrated into various courses. Notably, this marks only the second instance of PBL being used in a blended learning format, an area that remains underexplored. The study seeks to examine both students' and teachers' perceptions of the effects of PBL, specifically through the implementation of a Magazine Project within a blended translation course.
