In fact, metaphors and metonymies are two popular ways to change the meanings of words. This study is centered around metaphors in 181 English and Vietnamese idioms related to colors. The comparative method, quantitative, qualitative, and semantic analysis are used throughout this study to find similarities and differences between metaphors in English and Vietnamese idioms related to colors in terms of linguistics and culture.

A procedure for quantitative analysis of trace element magnesium (Mg) in soft capsules (mainly containing vitamins, trace elements and herbal extracts) using atomic absorption spectroscopy (AAS) has been established. The sample was treated to convert the Mg compound to Mg+2 ion form in solution by heating the sample on a boiling water bath with 10% hydrochloric acid solution, with the addition of Polysorbate 80. The sample was diluted with 1% hydrochloric acid solution, with the addition of LaCl3 in the final solution for AAS measurement.

The study which applies quantitative methods along with the support of EVIEWS software points out a statistical significance relationship. Firstly, the CS has a contrariwise impact on ROA but no effect on ROE and ROS. Secondly, among control variables (asset structure, expenditure ratio, revenue), the expenditure ratio is the only one showing a contrariwise impact on ROS and the rest has no statistical significance.

For sample collection, lacrimal tear fluid was absorbed into pre-weighed absorbing paper strips, which were then immediately weighed again right after sampling to calculate the sample mass.

Quantitative reverse transcription PCR (RT-qPCR) paired with stem-loop was utilized in this study to establish a process for detecting miRNA-425-5p in human plasma, contributing to accurate prognosis and early diagnosis of genetic diseases in humans, especially cancer diseases.
