The paper discusses the movement of a quarter-car concerning whether the tires are in contact with the road or not. A set of equations is formulated to highlight the two different states, and a new approach is presented to solve these equations while also considering the separation of the tires.

This paper presents a dynamic model of a tilting child travel seat. The child seat is presented as a physical pendulum. Thereby the seat in concert with the child can rotate around a cylindrical joint located above its mass center.
