In this study, the efficacy of educational technology tools in enhancing speaking skills was explored through a quasi-experimental design involving 84 IT freshmen. Employing tools such as FORVO (FV), YouGlish (YG), and Oxford Advanced Learners' Dictionary (OALD) 8th edition, the research compared the speaking abilities of students using these technologies (experimental group) against those taught through traditional methods (control group).

This article reports on research into the problems that non-English major freshmen at Quy Nhon University face when they lose interest in learning English speaking skills. The subjects were 200 first-year non-English majors belonging to non-English majors such as Economics, Accounting, Natural Resources and Environmental Management, Food Technology, and Construction Engineering etc. at Quy Nhon University.

This research presents a study that generalizes communication methods used by intermediate-level English-speaking UNETI non-majors in English. It was a quantitative and qualitative investigation in which a communication strategy taxonomy suggested by Malasit, Y. and Sarobol, N. (2013) was used to analyze and identify students' use of communication strategies in their recorded speaking performance.

The reading comprehension skill is considered as one of the four fundamental language skills that an EFL learner must perform. Actually, it is not an easy skill since most of learners have many reading issues. The aim of the study was to solve the students’ problems in speaking lesson by using task-based activities. Then, the first objective was to verify the effectiveness of using task-based learning on the speaking performance of the 11th grade students at Diem Thuy high school. Specifically, it investigated whether TBL exerted any influence on students’ performance in speaking classes. The second objective was to explore students’ opinions towards the use of task-based learning in speaking lessons.
