
Teaching Vietnamese history

This article proposes several measures to organize practical lessons, a new type of lesson introduced in the 2022 History General Education Program. The study is based on feedback from 28 teachers and observations of 240 grade 11 students at Vinschool High School, Hanoi, who participated in these practical history lessons.

Aims of research: On the basis of affirming the role and significance of the issue on using the special national relic sites in Hanoi in teaching Vietnamese history at high schools, the doctoral thesis defines the contents, creates teaching designs, and proposes measures in use, thereby contributing to the improvement of the quality of teaching history before the requirements of the current fundamental and comprehensive education renovation.
