The thermophysical properties of graphene nanofluids in thermosyphon have been studied at different power inputs, temperatures and angles of inclination. The thermal conductivity of the graphene nanofluid is found to be 29% higher than that of the deionized water at 45 0C.

To probe the stability of the seven-iron ferredoxin from Thermus thermophilus(FdTt), we investigated its chemical and thermal denaturationprocesses insolution.Aspredicted from the crystal structure, FdTt is extremely resistant to perturbation. The guanidine hydrochloride-induced unfolding transition shows a midpoint at 6.5M(pH 7, 20
C), andthe thermalmidpoint is aboveboiling, at 114
C. The stability of FdTt is much lower at acidic pH, suggesting that electrostatic interactions are important for the high stability at higher pH.

The gene encompassing ORF Rv1885c with weak sequence similarity to AroQ chorismate mutases (CMs) was cloned from the genome ofMycobac-terium tuberculosis and expressed in Escherichia coli. The gene product (*MtCM) complements a CM-deficient E. colistrain, but only if produced without the predicted N-terminal signal sequence typical ofM. tuberculosis. The mature *MtCM, which was purified by exploiting its resistance to irre-versible thermal denaturation, possesses high CM activity in vitro.
