Camellia megasepala Hung T. Chang & Trin Ninh, found in Na Hang district, Tuyen Quang province, contains a significant amount of flavonoids and polyphenols, which are important phenolic compounds known for their various biological activities beneficial to human health, including antibacterial and antiinflammatory effects. This study applied the response surface methodology (RSM) to examine the influence of extraction factors on the polyphenol and flavonoid content in golden tea leaves.

This study aims to determine the various strains of yeast and filamentous fungi in traditional alcohol yeast cake from Hai Hau district, Nam Dinh province. By traditional laboratory techniques such as isolation on YPD agar, observation of colony morphology as well as cell characteristics by microscopy, combined with molecular biology method to sequence ITS region 03 strains of yeast Saccharomyces cerevisiae CN1, CN2, and NM3 were identified: 01 pseudo-strain yeast Saccharomycopsis fibuligera NM02 and 01 strain of filamentous fungi Rhizopus microsporus NS04.

Plant specimens coded as Dung 051120221 at Hanoi (HN) Herbarium of the Institute of Ecology and Biological Resources, were identified as Microchirita bimaculata (D. Wood) A. Weber & D. J. Middleton. This study focuses on the biological characteristics of the genetic resources of the Stephania brachyandra in Thai Nguyen, one of Vietnam's valuable medicinal plants currently at risk of extinction. Investigation results indicate that Stephania brachyandra is commonly found at an average density of 32.57 plants per square kilometer, with distribution density varying across districts, being highest in Vo Nhai district and lowest in Phu Luong district.

This study explores phytochemical profiles and several biological activities of Santalum album L. flowers collected from Dak Lak Province, Vietnam. The qualitative phytochemical analysis of Santalum album flower extracts reveals the presence of free triterpenoids, flavonoids, and tannins, particularly in the alcohol and water extracts, suggesting a rich source of bioactive compounds with potential therapeutic benefits, while other compound groups like saponins, alkaloids, coumarins, and essential oils are either absent or present in very low concentrations.
