Thuốc chống viêm không steroid (NSAID) là một nhóm thuốc thường gây ra phản ứng dị ứng và giả dị ứng trên da. Celecoxib đại diện cho nhóm thuốc Coxib có tác dụng ức chế chọn lọc cyclooxygenase 2 (COX-2).Bài viết trình bày một trường hợp phát ban dát sẩn do celecoxib, được chẩn đoán bằng test áp da trên bệnh nhân nữ 39 tuổi, không có tiền sử dị ứng.

Cyclooxygenase-2 (COX-2) is a key enzyme in the production of prosta-glandins that are major inflammatory agents. COX-2 production is trig-gered by exposure to various cytokines and to bacterial endotoxins. We present here a novel role for the Ets transcription factor ESE-1 in regula-ting the COX-2gene in response to endotoxin and other pro-inflammatory stimuli. Cytosolic phospholipase A2-a(cPLA2-a) is a calcium-activated enzyme that plays an important role in agonist-induced arachidonic acid release. In endothelial cells, free arachidonic acid can be converted subsequently into prostacyclin, a potent vasodilator and inhibitor of platelet activation, through the action of cyclooxygenase (COX) enzymes.
