In this research, House's (1977) Translation Quality Assessment Model was applied to evaluate the Vietnamese translation of the novel "The Thorn Birds" by Trung Dung (2015), focusing on two dimensions: Dimensions of Language Use and Dimensions of Language User. This study illustrates steps in evaluating Trung Dung’s Vietnamese translation of “The Thorn Birds”, providing examples of mismatches and errors in comparing the source text and the target text.

The incidence of eating disorders in dancers represents a complex health issue. Traditional research frameworks have failed to sufficiently elucidate this matter. Emerging theories on the gut-brain axis provide a potentially transformative perspective for understanding these disorders in dancers. Purpose: This review aims to explore the factors influencing eating disorders in dancers and to propose novel intervention strategies that integrate gut-brain axis theory with established multidimensional approaches.

This paper investigates the syntactic features and expression exclamations in English in the novel "If tomorrow comes" by the author Sidney Sheldon and its Vietnamese equivalent by translator Nguyen Ba Long. It is conducted with the hope of finding out the similarities and differences between how exclamations are formed in both languages and suggesting practical applications to the learning and teaching of English as a foreign language in Vietnam.

The article explores direct refusals in English and their Vietnamese equivalents through a comparative analysis of the direct refusals in the novel "Gone with the Wind" by Margaret Mitchell and the Vietnamese translated version "Cuốn theo chiều giỏ" by Vũ Kim Thư. The study's primary aim is to examine how refusals are expressed in English and how these expressions are translated into Vietnamese, considering linguistic differences.

This paper introduces a practical and simple power control method for wind energy conversion systems based on a doubly-fed induction generator. Due to the limitations of traditional proportional-integral controllers when the parameters of the doubly-fed induction generator and wind speed vary, fuzzy control theory is applied to overcome these challenges.

In this study, we propose a novel approach using the oscillation characteristics of the RMS current as the input to machine learning models, combined with the confident learning technique. Using the oscillation characteristics obtained by taking a discrete Fourier transform (DFT) of the RMS current as model input, we aim to reduce the computational requirements of the machine learning models.

For robots, crawling through curved or redirected pipe sections with different pipe diameters to inspect and survey pipes is quite a difficult task. To solve this problem, in this article we propose a new pipe inspection robot model that is a combination of rigid mechanical structures with a soft body to ensure the robot moves smoothly and is flexible.
