Relational databases

This paper proposes an efficient method to determine entire reducts of incomplete decision tables according to the relational database approach. In the complex case, this algorithm has exponential computational complexity. However, this algorithm has polynomial computational complexity in the different cases of databases.

Bài báo này trình bày hướng tiếp cận cho phép người sử dụng có thể lựa chọn và truy vấn được dữ liệu mong muốn từ hai loại cơ sở dữ liệu phổ biến hiện nay là cơ sở dữ liệu ngữ nghĩa (RDF database), cơ sở dữ liệu quan hệ (relational database). Dựa trên ngữ nghĩa của câu truy vấn bằng ngôn ngữ tự nhiên và loại cơ sở dữ liệu lựa chọn, hệ thống sẽ đề nghị ra một câu truy vấn tương ứng cho phép người dùng kiểm tra trước khi đồng ý thực thi.

In this paper, we present a definition of fuzzy multivalued dependencies in fuzzy databases with linguistic data based on similarity relation which is built by partitioning the domain of attribute values corresponding to an appropriate hedge algebra. Some properties of fuzzy multivalued dependencies are studied. Finally, the set of inference rules is shown to be sound and complete for a relation scheme class when it satisfies some specified conditions.

The original database may be rebuilt from the subfragmentations and the aliases. The fragmentation of the given relational database by group of the repeated values of the attributes will save the needed memory, increase the processing speed of data. This work has been applied in people’s committee of Hatay province and its districts and precints.

Fuzzy databases with linguistic data based on hedge algebras were introduced, where the evaluation of queries containing linguistic data was transformed into that of traditional queries. On this new viewpoint, in this paper a notion of linear functional dependencies in these databases will be defined reasonably. The problems related to increasingly and decreasingly linear functional dependencies will be considered.

In this paper, we propose a new approach to overcome the limitations of the approach that is based on hedge algebra structure for building fuzzy object-oriented databases model. Some operators fuzzy object-oriented relation algebra are proposed corresponding with the model. Finally,we propose a method of fuzzy object-oriented query processing flexibly.

The report proposes the concept of positive boolean dependency in the database model of block form, proving equivalent theorem of three derived types, necessary and sufficient criteria of the derived type, the member problem...
